As a decent repro pair, of course we try to replicate about almost every aspect of the original pair. We use the same exact denim fabric like they had in the past; that”’s a beautiful 13.75 oz indigo selvedge denim sourced from Kaihara Japan. We also utilized some of the original ‘unusual’ details rarely (or never) found in regular Oldblue jeans. Like the double chainstitch on the waist band, single felled inseam, and its bartacked back pockets. Of course, we do need to leave our own mark too, that’s why you can see the distinct leather stamp.
