Heavy Tee - The Deep Washer

This particular collection mainly drew its inspiration from yet another rugged facet of selvedge dry denim culture. Started by the terms and tales only seasoned denim drifters and indigo faithful would truly recognize, we took those codes and pushed ‘em further down the trail. Transformin’ them into bold graphics steeped in the western heritage spirit you’ve come to expect from us.

Inspired by the hidden language of denim heads, ‘The Deep Washer’ charts the journey to the legendary sea wash. The mythical fade ritual where raw denim meets crashing tides, harsh sun, and sea salt. That mythical treatment whispered about in denim circles like lost treasure maps and sailor yarns. ‘Sea-Washed Blue, Sun-Born Fade’. That’s the law of the open water. The salt stiffens it. The sea cleans it. The sun fades it. And in the end, the journey earns it.

For this graphic tee collection, we put our Heavy Tee to work. Cut from a 7 oz./sqy heavy-weight jersey knitted fabric. The fabric itself was built using 16/1 ring-spun cotton yarns for strength and comfort. That ring-spun construction gives the fabric a softer hand and better breathability; proving that heavy doesn’t have to mean stiff and unforgiving.

The details are where the truth shows. Triple-needle stitching with neck binding reinforces the rib so it holds its shape through hard wear and harder washes. Finished with blind-stitch construction on the sleeves and hem—a method long favored in vintage tees and widely used until the mid-1990s. These aren’t decorations. They’re working details, chosen because they last.
