Work Jacket Type III - 7 Oz Indigo Plaid Jacquard USA

This particular jacket was made using jacquard fabric with a plaid pattern. The fabric was woven on the jacquard loom. And by using that particular loom, it allows to create raised motifs / patterns in the fabric. Jacquard patterns are woven directly into the fabric as it’s being made. That’s why without the ability to touch the fabric, you should be able to see the fabric’s surface depth. And to add more specialty to the fabric, the dark blue pattern you’re seeing was made using rope-dyed indigo yarns.

The base fabric of this Indigo Plaid Blouse falls into a lighter weight category, so it’s a pretty decent option for those of you who’re looking for a more versatile kind of jacket piece for your extra layering needs. The fabric weight itself is 7 oz. / sq. yds. this plaid jacquard fabric was woven in the USA. And the roll was pulled from our dead-stock fabric archive & collection. Needless to say, this only run of the plaid jacquard jacket is only available in an exceptionally limited quantity.

If you remember our Vintage Plaid Jacket back in 2017-2018, this particular piece is also made using the similar patter, the Work Jacket Type III. It’s our original jacket pattern inspired by the 1930s denim jacket style. It has a particular rounded collar style. The jacket has a double pleat on its front placket. It’s equipped with a single big pocket and finished off with Oldblue signature looped-arcuate stitch. For those of you who enjoy a refined detail, you’d appreciate its distinct curved front and back yoke style. Last but not least, it has a bold cinch-back for you to adjust the body width with a more flexible manner.
