Description

In the old West, where superstitions rode side by side with grit, numbers often held subtle meaning. In cowboy culture, age 14 often marked a rite of passage. It’s when young ranch hands were expected to pull their weight; ride their own horse, break their own boots, and earn their keep. In many ways, 14 was when a boy started to become a man. 14 stood as the number that pushed past fear, stepped into promise, and carried the journey forward. This is our 14th Fandango!

14 years in the game. 14 years of glorious fades, untamed grit, and relentless grind. 14 years and still carrying the same ol’ spirit. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just the old way — slow, steady, and stitched with soul. As we hit this milestone, we tip our hats to the journey. And more importantly, to the folks who’ve walked it with us. Because around here, we don’t count years. We count our fellas, fades, and the stories stitched into every seam. We built this collection for those who’ve been riding with us since Day One — and those just hopping on.

One of the main denim fabrics we specially utilized for this special occasion is this extremely standout in the saddle kind of selvedge denim from Kaihara Mills of Japan. From the very first moment you lay eyes on this denim, you know its slub texture means business. Weighted at 19 oz. / sq.yd, this loom-state unsanforized denim, this packed with massive, irregular slub textures that run wild across every inch.

Each yarn is tensioned and twisted in such an extreme way to create that bold, high-low surface. A raw n’ rope-dyed landscape that’s as unpredictable as the road ahead. A denim with deep vertical streaking, dramatic highs and lows, and the kind of fade potential that only the heaviest hitters dream of. It’s then built with our ever-signature slim-straight cut, the 8.25″ Cut. The same cut that has been in our range since the very first.

It’s not just the fabric that tells the story; it’s every piece that holds it together. We’ve outfitted the denim with our signature hardware from Scovill Fasteners, one of the oldest and most trusted names in American metal-work since 1802. Each solid brass button and pure copper rivet is engineered for longevity and built to age with character. The special 14th Fandango mark was stamped into natural veg-tanned cowhide leather that’ll develop its particular patina with wear.
