For our special 10th Golden Decade denim pants, we draw back the model into the golden eras of denim in 1930-40’s. This denim dungaree features all the particular details of the 1937 jean. The cinch back, the crotch rivet, the (newly added) hidden rivets, are some of the worth mentioning features embedded on the jean. It’s the last mode that’s still utilized the cinch back before it’s written off towards the WWII era and forward.
The denim is quite special because this is the very first time we use Vidalia Mills USA denim. You might already heard a thing or two about ‘em when they decided to bought every remaining pieces of the White Oak Cone Mills legendary Draper X3 shuttle looms. The denim is weighted at 14 oz. / sq. yard and we decided to leave ‘em on their untouched loom-state condition, so they still hold their genuine and pristine kind of characters. You’ll see that this denim really has a nice hairy texture and has a soft hand-fell resulted from the ring spun yarns.
Built using the particular cut of the 30’s jean which has higher rise, roomy top block, and regular leg. Trimmed using our special made Scovill USA copper plated buttons and YKK Japan sharp-lookin’ cinch back hardware. Reinforced with 100% copper rivets of Scovill USA. The special 10th Golden Decade leather patch was made using locally sourced natural tanned cow hide.
*This Vidalia denim might have some minor imperfections (subtle chatters, etc) and do consider it as the beauty of imperfection and acknowledgement towards their progress.
