THE BUCKLE
The buckle ain’t no ordinary lump of metal holdin’ your dungarees in place. It’s a right proper nod to the Wild West, a dead ringer for a lucky horseshoe. Back in them golden days, folks swore by horseshoes, believin’ they brought more good fortune than a prospector pannin’ for gold!
The horseshoe buckle ain’t something we simply picked up at the local store. We built this bad boy from the ground up, partner! We sketched it, wrestled it into bein’ a piece of sample, argued ’til our voices were hoarse revisin’ it (back and forth, just like a herd of cattle!), and finally forged it from solid brass. To top it all off, we gave it a brush finish, smoother than a tumbleweed rollin’ across the prairie after a good dust storm. It’s got that rugged charm, just like a real cowboy’s life!
THE LEATHER
The leather use for the belts are wrangled all the way from the South American prairies. It’s tanned the old-fashioned way, using only natural plant tannins for that genuine leather scent and feel. This leather ain’t just a pretty face; it ages like a fine bourbon, developing a patina that tells a tale of grit and character. Goes hand in hand with our beloved dry denim, like a trusty steed and its rider.
A double butt cow hide, pulled from the hind leg portion of the critter, running around the butt and up to the spine on both sides. It’s the toughest, firmest part of the hide, perfect for our heavy-duty belting material. We’re talkin’ about a full hide thickness, around 10/11 oz on average.
THE FIT
The Horseshoe Belts is 1.75″ width, and available in four different sizes, size I through IV. This will accommodate waist sizes from 28 – 39. Each belt have 5 pair of tear drop holes for easy adjustments.
