The denim is proudly made in the uprising Vidalia Mills of Louisiana – USA on their full of glory Draper X3 shuttle looms.
As the name already implies, our 14 Oz STF Selvedge Vidalia denim fabric came from the expert hands of Vidalia Mills whose mission is to preserve American made denim along with all its glory. Not only a slogan of excessively-sounded American made that we often hear, but they surely do the walk the talk as the selvedge denim from Vidalia Mills is made using the Draper X3 shuttle looms. Yes, the same one that are used in the legendary White Oak Cone denim for many years before the close-down.
The denim is weighted at 14 oz. / sq. yard and we decided to leave ‘em on their untouched loom-state condition. This is the real deal kind of American selvedge denim that still holds the genuine and pristine kind of characters.
The denim really has a nice hairy texture and has a soft hand-fell resulted from the ring spun yarns. The cotton is originated from USA as well. Another variable that makes this denim an end-to-end full-of-quality American made.
