THE FOUNDATION

The Field Tote takes its roots from Alpaka’s Flight Tote and reshapes it through Oldblue’s lens of functional heritage.

At first glance, the two external pockets set the tone. Their inspiration traces back to military utility totes widely used during WWII, a time when gear was judged by its honesty of purpose rather than ornament. Function came first. Reliability meant everything.

To carry that spirit forward, the Field Tote pairs Alpaka’s Axoflux 300D fabric in deep navy with the distinctive EPX 400D fabric in desert brown.  The result is a carry that feels rugged at first glance yet refined in its presence.

THE DETAILS

Every corner of the Field Tote is built with practical use in mind.

Two exterior pockets sit front and center for quick access. Hidden magnetic slots at both the front and rear keep essentials secure while staying within easy reach. Inside, the layout is built for everyday carry. A dedicated 14 inch device sleeve keeps your laptop steady, while internal pockets and a bottle sleeve keep the rest of your gear right where it should be.

Oldblue’s signature character finds its place in the finer details. Custom copper rivets from Scovill reinforce the straps while bringing a subtle heritage touch. A solid brass D-ring stands ready to secure keys or tools, built to take on years of daily use.

The build is finished with paracord pull zippers and rolled webbing handles, making the tote sturdy in the hand and dependable over the long haul.
